I have extensive experience in working with adolescents, and I love working with them. I aim to provide your teen with a comfortable and meaningful experience.

Due to social and academic pressures, and developmental changes in the brain, teens tend to have a harder time than adults. Working both as a teen therapist and at a teen hotline, I have found that teens are often struggling much more internally than they tell adults.

Teens can often benefit from working with a therapist who is not part of their everyday lives. I have been told for many years that I have a knack at working with teens. I believe they enjoy working with me, as much as I enjoy working with them.

This is your child, and you want to make sure you are picking the right person to support him/her. I totally get it.

Some teen challenges I work with include:

  • Decline of grades
  • Anger
  • Relationship issues
  • Bullying
  • Divorce
  • Sadness
  • Substance use
  • Perfectionism
  • Anxiety and panic attacks
  • Procrastination
  • Self-harm
  • Suicidal thoughts
